Ingredients

For the Wings:
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon pepper (or to taste)
  • 1 cup buffalo wing sauce (I used Frank's)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Wire rack
  • Measuring cups
  • Oven

Method

Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for crispy wings.
  2. Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken wings, salt, and pepper. Toss well to season evenly.
  3. Step 3: If using a wire rack, place it on top of your baking sheet. Arrange the wings in a single layer.
  4. Step 4: Bake the wings for about 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through for even cooking.
  5. Step 5: While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a saucepan and stir in the buffalo sauce.
  6. Step 6: Once the wings are crispy, toss them in the buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
  7. Step 7: Serve hot with dipping sauces and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, dry the wings thoroughly before seasoning.
  • Adjust the spice level by adding cayenne pepper or using a hotter sauce.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven.
