Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Cooking spray

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Baking sheet
  • Spatula or spoon

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the lean ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  2. Using your hands, shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter, yielding around 16 to 20 meatballs.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the meatballs in a single layer, ensuring they aren’t touching.
  5. Cook the meatballs for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
  6. Remove from the air fryer and let the meatballs rest for a few minutes before serving with your favorite sauce or on a bed of spaghetti.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Freeze meatballs in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months.
  • Reheat in the air fryer or oven until warmed through.
