Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Spatula
  • Oven-Proof Dish (Optional)

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, crack the 6 large eggs and pour in 1/2 cup of whole milk. Add 1 teaspoon of kosher salt, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Whisk the ingredients together until they are well combined and frothy.
  2. Stir in 1/4 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese into the egg mixture. This will give your frittata that delicious cheesy flavor.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C) for about 3-5 minutes. This ensures even cooking from the start.
  4. If your air fryer basket is non-stick, you can pour the egg mixture directly into it. If not, lightly grease your oven-proof dish and pour the mixture in.
  5. Place the basket into the air fryer and set the timer for 12-15 minutes. Check for doneness around the 10-minute mark; the frittata should be set in the middle and slightly golden on top.
  6. Once cooked, carefully remove the frittata from the air fryer. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy it warm or at room temperature!

Notes

  • For a dairy-free option, substitute whole milk with almond or oat milk.
  • Add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra nutrition and flavor.
  • Leftover frittata can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
