Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 12 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garnish paprika, fresh chives, chopped parsley, or green onions

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Mixing bowl
  • Fork or potato masher
  • Spoon or piping bag
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 270°F (130°C).
  2. Place the eggs in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching each other. Cook for 15 minutes.
  3. Once the cooking time is up, carefully transfer the eggs to a bowl filled with ice water. Let them sit for about 5-10 minutes.
  4. Gently tap each egg on a hard surface to crack the shell, then peel under running water for easier removal.
  5. Slice the peeled eggs in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl. Add the mayonnaise, softened butter, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.
  6. Using a spoon or piping bag, fill the hollowed egg whites with the yolk mixture.
  7. Sprinkle paprika over the filled eggs and add finely chopped chives, parsley, or green onions.

Notes

  • Cook and peel the eggs a day ahead for easy preparation.
  • Experiment with different mustards for varied flavors.
  • Store deviled eggs in the fridge for up to two days covered.
