Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Carrots scrubbed, peeled, and cut into 1-inch thick diagonal slices
  • 2 teaspoons Extra virgin olive oil for drizzling
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Ground black pepper for seasoning
  • Fresh thyme or parsley optional for serving

Method
 

  1. Start by scrubbing and peeling your carrots. Cut them into 1-inch thick diagonal slices.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced carrots with olive oil, kosher salt, and black pepper. Toss until coated.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Place the seasoned carrots in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Air fry the carrots for about 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  6. Once tender and caramelized, remove them from the air fryer and garnish with thyme or parsley.

Notes

  • Store leftover carrots in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in the air fryer to regain crispiness; avoid microwaving.
  • Experiment with seasonings like garlic powder or maple syrup for added flavor.
