Ingredients

For the Steaks:
  • 2 pieces Steaks (1" thick ribeye, sirloin, or striploin)
  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For the Garlic Butter:
  • 1 Tbsp Butter (softened)
  • 2 tsp Garlic (minced)
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Meat thermometer
  • Mixing bowl
  • Brush
  • Cutting board

Method

Cooking Instructions:
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Set aside to let the flavors meld.
  2. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture. Brush both sides of the steaks with olive oil, then generously season with salt and pepper.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (204°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the seasoned steaks in the air fryer basket, making sure they’re not overcrowded. Air fry the steaks for 10-12 minutes for medium doneness, flipping halfway through.
  5. Once the steaks are done, remove them from the air fryer and immediately top each one with a generous dollop of the prepared garlic butter. Let the steaks rest for about 5 minutes.
  6. After resting, slice the steaks against the grain for maximum tenderness. Serve hot, garnished with any remaining garlic butter and a sprinkle of fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Don't skip drying the steaks; moisture prevents a nice crust.
  • Allow the steak to come to room temperature before cooking.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check doneness accurately.
  • Let the steak rest for juicy and tender meat.
