  • 1 cup mashed sweet potato
  • ¾ cup pure maple syrup
  • ¾ cup unsweetened creamy almond butter
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ cup protein powder
  • ½ tsp sea salt (to taste)
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure even baking.
  2. Step 2: Peel and mash your sweet potato until smooth.
  3. Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed sweet potato, pure maple syrup, almond butter, and egg. Mix well.
  4. Step 4: Add cocoa powder, protein powder, and sea salt to the mixture. Stir until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  5. Step 5: Grease your 8x8 inch baking dish and pour the batter in, spreading evenly.
  6. Step 6: Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Step 7: Cool in the dish for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before cutting.
