- Step 1: Prepare the Avocados - Begin by slicing the avocados in half, removing the pit, and scooping the flesh into your blender or food processor.
- Step 2: Add Remaining Ingredients - To the blender, add the maple syrup, raw cacao powder (or cocoa powder), almond milk (or coconut milk), and sea salt.
- Step 3: Blend Until Smooth - Blend the mixture on high speed until it’s completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary.
- Step 4: Taste and Adjust - Give your mousse a taste. If you prefer it sweeter, add a bit more maple syrup and blend again.
- Step 5: Chill and Serve - Transfer the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
- For an extra creamy texture, choose very ripe avocados.
- If you don’t have maple syrup, you can substitute with agave nectar or honey.
- Experiment with different non-dairy milks to find your favorite flavor combination.
