Instructions:
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the diced chicken pieces and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden and cooked through.
- Step 3: Once the chicken is cooked, add the minced garlic and buffalo wing sauce to the skillet. Stir to coat the chicken evenly, allowing it to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Step 4: While the chicken is cooking, slice the French bread in half lengthwise. Place the halves on an oven-safe baking sheet, cut side up.
- Step 5: Spread a thin layer of unsalted butter on the cut sides of the French bread. Next, drizzle ranch dressing over each half. Evenly distribute the buffalo chicken mixture on top of the bread.
- Step 6: Sprinkle the freshly grated fontina cheese and crumbled gorgonzola cheese generously over the chicken. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Step 7: Once out of the oven, garnish the buffalo chicken French breads with sliced green onions and chopped cilantro. Drizzle with additional buffalo sauce if desired. Slice into sections and serve warm.
Notes
