Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour with the Greek yogurt. Stir until a dough begins to form. It should be slightly sticky but manageable.
- Lightly flour your work surface and transfer the dough onto it. Knead the dough for about 1-2 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic. If it’s too sticky, sprinkle a bit more flour as needed.
- Divide the dough into equal pieces, about 8-10. Roll each piece into a long, thin stick, approximately 6-8 inches in length.
- Spray your baking sheet with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper. Place the shaped breadsticks on the sheet, leaving space between each stick.
- Generously sprinkle Lowry's Garlic Salt over the top of each breadstick. Adjust according to your garlic preference.
- Bake the breadsticks in your preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up. Watch them to prevent over-baking.
- Once baked, remove the breadsticks from the oven and allow them to cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm with marinara sauce, olive oil, or your favorite dip!
Notes
- Make Ahead: Prepare the dough and shape the breadsticks, then refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking.
- Storage: Keep leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or freeze for longer.
- Reheating: Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes to regain fluffiness.
