Ingredients
  

  • 1 3/4 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt plain
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted, of choice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds optional
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds optional

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Step 2: In a mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour with Greek yogurt and mix until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Step 3: On a floured surface, knead the dough gently for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  4. Step 4: Divide the dough into 4 pieces, shape into bagels, and poke a hole in the center.
  5. Step 5: Place bagels on a parchment-lined baking sheet, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with seeds.
  6. Step 6: Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Step 7: Let cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • Store bagels in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature.
  • Freeze individually wrapped bagels for up to 3 months.
